Gowallapod Nano – 1/365
I’ve been meaning to start a picture a day, 365 days of the year project for a while now. I failed at starting on the 1st Jan, so why not 1st Feb?
So here’s my first picture for my new project, let’s see how long I can keep it up. I’ll try to post daily, but if not then I’ll upload the one’s I’ve missed in order and put them in the project album.
This is a picture of the custom Limited Edition Gowalla iPod nano I won from them over xmas in their 10.5 days of Christmas giveaway.
It’s as awesome as it looks!
Invading The Vintage
Franco Brambilla has taken a set of old tourism postcards, and added in pictures of aliens and their crafts.
Or was it him?

Check out the whole set on flickr. There are a few other sets of images equally as fun as these as well.

It just makes scents

This is an awesome Time Capsule styled candle. I dont have much info on how it was made, even Google translate cant really help me understand the source page . From what i can work out, it was made with an aluminum mold, and thats about it!

I love the mix between live action and animation used to create it.
A short film for mtv worldwide to help raise awareness of the effects of global warming. A combination of live action and animation. A globe in a classroom was shot on 16mm which was then tracked and populated with cg toy-like clouds, cars, planes, and cities.
Do You Remember When You Were a Kid and You Thought You Could Do ANYTHING?
This is a great short inspiational film for the site grasshopper.com.
I love stuff like this, great music to go with it too from Carly Comando.
Grasshopper empowers entrepreneurs to succeed with an Advanced Number that helps their small business sound more professional.
You may remember Carly Comando’s music from the 2006 video ‘Noah takes a photo of himself every day for 6 years.’ Seen below.
Hi, a real human interface

You mean that you didn’t already know that inside every computer was a real person just waiting for you to make your next move?
This short video from Multitouch Barcelona imagines a real human interface, and puts what you didn’t think you already knew into visual reality.

F is for Fail – Awesome typography video

High-flying ups and sideways-spiraling downs. False starts and fresh starts. The creative process can be unpredictable. Brent Barson’s short film F is for Fail is the story of one person’s creative roller coaster, told through type in an evocative A to Z.
